YNOT Start
Currently Recruiting
YNOT Start is our premier team to drive nonprofit project development. We strive to encourage youths to be able to start these kinds of charitable initiatives through a series of webinars and workshops that we host. This application round, we hope to establish a full-on training program to guide selected projects to completion.
Like our Ambassador Teams, the YNOT Start team’s goal is to give youths the skills to create change in their communities. However, the Start team’s specialty lies in helping them create nonprofit projects, rather than delivering the leader-building skills taught by the Ambassador team.
YNOT understands the importance of youth-driven initiatives in the development of Southeast Asia as a region – a majority of the population is under 35! – therefore, the Start team has taken into consideration the array of problems and uncertainties associated with building a nonprofit organization, from its initial creation and ideation to the final launch.
This long, arduous process of project development is difficult to navigate with so much unknowns, such as determining mission, maneuvering through legal frameworks to register, and performing enough research to find where nonprofit work has a demonstrated need and impact. This process is even more difficult with young people, who have big ideas, but just need some extra help to get to the finish line.
At YNOT Start, team members will work to promote the complicated process of nonprofit project development into a format accessible across Southeast Asia, in the form of webinars and workshops – these are designed to give any driven, creative youth the know-how to create an organization to bring their dreams to life.
If you’re interested in working in an international environment where multimedia skills and social awareness are valued and treasured, if you wish to work with driven youths to impact other young Southeast Asia across an unimaginable scale, YNOT Start is the place for you.
